CeNeCé PRO is not a new version of CeNeCé, but a completely new program, created by Javier Lopez and Dani Sàez, or Dani Sàez and Javier Lopez. Its development began in mid August 2003 due to the necessity to have a more intuitive program, easy to use, that worked in any Windows platform, with all the functionalities necessary to make any type of cut and an integrated set of tools, that is to say, "a PROfessional" version.
MAIN FEATURES
Next some of the main features that CeNeCé PRO incorporates are briefly described:
Windows independent
The new CeNeCé PRO can run on any Windows Platform:
- Windows 9x
- Windows Me
- Windows NT
- Windows 2K
- Windows Xp
It is not limited to Windows 9x anymore.
Multilanguage
The CeNeCé PRO comes with the following languages:
- Spanish
- English
- French
- Portuguese
- Italian
It also includes manuals with more than 100 pages!
Controler independent
The new CeNeCé PRO, can use any controller of the market, since it does not need any external oscillator (originally mounted in the C4) and allows to setup each of the pins of the parallel port to adapt the program to any electronics.
Many controlers have been tested, among them, the C4, MM2001 and Step Four.
Change of philosophy
The new CeNeCé PRO presents a radical change of philosophy. The use of external files is eliminated, the PRJ's, PRM's, CTR's, even the DATS, are all stored in a data base, being able to import and to export any necessary file at any time, and maintaining the integrity of the projects in a more reliable way.
This allows a better way to share projects, and distribute them through Internet.
Working environment
The work environment has been designed to be access to all the functionalities of the program in a clear, fast and easy way. Some windows are integrated in the environment, whereas others show or float on the main screen.
Functions
Among it's many functionalities, one of the most interesting is the automatic interpolation of shapes, that is if the two shapes of your project do not have the same number of points, the program will automatically interpolate them to be equal. You can also interpolate your project manually with the tools provided.
CreaDat
CeNeCé PRO incorporates an improved version of the CreaDat as an integrated tool, among its new functionalities, we have:
- Create DATs from the capture of DXFs or DWGs loaded in Autocad, versions 2000,2002,2004,2006,2007 y 2008.
- Load DXFs and PLTs wtih multiple shapes, that the program will connect automatically.
- Createfour types of files: DAT's standar profile type, DAT's with the New Format for CeNeCé, scripts for Autocad and DXF files.
- Load, modify and visualize DAT files (in multiple formats) SCR, CUT, PLT, COR, USR, PLF, STL and DXF's, DWG's already created.
- Possibility of opening to many windows to edit several dats at the same time.
- Ten undo levels.
- Automatic Search of synchronism points
- Choosing between several interpolation algorithms
- Possibility of inserting dats in the current form.
- Insert Bezier curves.
- Grid in the drawing area.
- Multiple point selection.
- Exports files to DXF, STL,...
- Wizards to cut external data.
- .....
CeNeCe PRO also has tools to create DATs:
- Dats from Text, fast and easy, you type it, then you cut it.
- Dat Multiplication, you can multply a dat, to create a new one with a matrix of the original one.
Kits
In CeNeCé PRO, a new concept has been created, kits. By kit we understand y set of projects that form a design (airplane, a logo or any other object composed of several pieces). All the projects that compose a kit can be visualized in the same 3D screen, and by means of displacements and rotations, we will be able to place each of them in its final position, to see the final aspect of all the set.
Now from version 1.03, CeNeCe PRO is "RcCad compliant", that means that you can import an rccad file, and automatically, the kit, projects and all the dats, will be created.

3D Visualization
CeNeCé PRO incorporates several 3D visualization, being able to turn, to close up, to move away and to move around:
- Shape: Allows to see the form that will be cut, in 3D.
- Environment: It offers an exact vision of our cutting environment, that is, of our machine (table, axes, wire), block of foam (size and position) and the form that is going to be cut within that block.
- Parameters: In the parameters screen we have a small simulation that allows to see our machine while we are defining its parameters.
- Projects: In the projects screen we have a small simulation that allows to see our block while we are defining its parameters.
- Kits: It allows to view and handle the set of pieces that compose a kit.
Dat's groups
We will be able to group the Dats loaded in the program, in families, this will facilitate its search, and allows to have a much more ordered control of all the Dats.
